Meadows & Ohly, LLC - Parkway Physicians Center Open House

On June 23, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Kennestone Outpatient Pavilion (KOP). The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by approximately 50 people including Greg Simone, WellStar Health System CEO; Candice Saunders, Kennestone Hospital Administrator; tenants, local community residents, investors and WellStar board members. The KOP will be approximately 130,000-square-feet within five above-ground floors and a basement located at the corner of Tower Road and Church Street on the WellStar Kennestone Hospital main campus. Construction began on May 10th with Brasfield and Gorrie as the general contractor. WellStar Kennestone has leased and will occupy approximately 65% of the $34.75 million project, including a women’s breast health imaging center on the first floor, an outpatient surgery center on the fourth floor and WellStar Physician Group OB/Gyn practices on the 5th floor.
