Newnan, GA – Meadows & Ohly, LLC, and Piedmont Newnan
Hospital today announced the groundbreaking of Piedmont
Medical Plaza, a 125,000-square-foot medical office
building on the new Piedmont Newnan Hospital campus
located on Poplar Road near Interstate 85. The medical
office building will be attached by covered walkway to
the 136-bed replacement hospital under construction by
Piedmont Healthcare. Piedmont Medical Plaza is scheduled
to open in February 2012, prior to the hospital opening
in the spring of 2012. Piedmont Medical Plaza will be owned by a partnership, which includes Meadows & Ohly, LLC and physicians who are tenants of the building. The project was designed by Perkins & Will, Inc., and will be constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC. “Piedmont Medical Plaza will provide a first-class environment for physicians and their patients, conveniently located to all of the Piedmont Newnan Hospital services,” said Thomas E. Rhodes, president of Meadows & Ohly. “We recognize that the project is significant to Coweta County as it improves access to quality healthcare, and it will create job opportunities now and in the future.
