MEADOWS & OHLY NAMES NEW VICE PRESIDENTS AND PRINCIPALS
January 2012, Atlanta, GA – Meadows & Ohly, LLC is pleased to announce that K. Parker Chambliss and Christian T. Hauck have been named Vice Presidents and Principals of the firm effective January 1, 2012. K. Parker Chambliss Parker Chambliss joined Meadows & Ohly, LLC in 1998. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and Land Development from the Georgia Institute of Technology. From 1998 to 2007 Mr. Chambliss held positions in both construction and property management. He served as Director of Construction for the firm in Atlanta until he was named Partner and relocated to Charlotte in 2007 to co-lead the Charlotte office. Mr. Chambliss has worked in the medical development and construction industry his entire career, and has managed more than $250 million worth of construction and renovation projects. These projects include medical office buildings, hospitals and research facilities. As Partner in the Charlotte office, Mr. Chambliss has been responsible for the firm’s procurement, management and delivery of design and construction services. In addition to his overall project and construction management responsibilities, Mr. Chambliss oversees leasing and property management for the 650,000 Sq Ft Charlotte portfolio

Christian T. Hauck Chris Hauck joined Meadows & Ohly, LLC in 2006. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Georgia State University. After serving the Air Force as a Development Manager designing and developing medical facilities across the United States, Mr. Hauck joined Meadows & Ohly’s Development Services group. Since then, Mr. Hauck has provided financial analysis for acquisitions and new development projects ranging in size from $5 million single purpose medical office buildings to $75 million multi–building portfolios. In addition, Mr. Hauck has led pre-development planning, procurement of financing, development management, consulting and leasing services for hospitals and physicians.

Meadows & Ohly extends helping hand to community during 2011 Day of Service

October 2011, Atlanta, GA - The employees of Meadows & Ohly made the most of Thursday, October 27th, a beautiful fall day in Duluth, GA as they gathered together at a local residential facility dedicated to the service of girls and women in need.

Each year the corporate employees and building managers from the field bond together for a day of service as a way to give back to the community in which they work.

It was a day of great satisfaction for M&O who saw the immediate fruits of their labor (from the newly refurbished and stained deck, to the freshly painted patio furniture and adirondeck chairs, and to the spruced up landscaping).

M&O was humbled by the story the Facility Director shared with them of how much their day of service meant to her organization and the impact it will have on the girls and women who come to them in need.

MEADOWS AND OHLY BEGINS CONSTRUCTION ON THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE CANCER INSTITUTE IN KNOXVILLE, TN
October 2011, Knoxville, TN - Meadows & Ohly, LLC began construction in September on a 100,000 square-foot medical office building on the campus of the University of Tennessee Medical Center (UTMC). The building will house the expansion of the UT Cancer Institute and is scheduled to open in the summer of 2012. The new facility will consolidate cancer treatment services under one roof and enhance the delivery of the hospital's oncology services including patient care, education resources and research.

The project was designed by BarberMcMurry Architects, and is being constructed by Johnson & Galyon Construction. “The vision for a comprehensive Cancer Institute housed in a first class, state-of-the-art facility was conceived a number of years ago. We are pleased to be partnered with UTMC as the developer and owner of the project. We look forward to making the vision reality when the doors open next summer,” said Tom Rhodes, President and Principal of Meadows & Ohly.

University of Tennessee Medical Center is a 581-bed, not-for-profit academic medical center, which serves as a referral center for Eastern Tennessee, Southeastern Kentucky and Western North Carolina. Farish, Ramsey, Lucas & Boyd join the Meadows & Ohly Team
October 2011, Atlanta, GA - Meadows & Ohly is pleased to welcome Daniel Farish, Jack Ramsey, Tim Lucas and William Boyd to the firm.

Daniel will be serving as Building Manager for Douglasville I, Douglasville II and Douglasville Medical Center. He has prior experience in tile refinishing and residential construction. MEADOWS AND OHLY BEGINS CONSTRUCTION ON A NEW OUTPATIENT FACILITY AND MOB IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA
September 2011, Clyde, NC - Meadows & Ohly, LLC started construction in July on the new MedWest Outpatient Center, a 46,000 square-foot medical office building and outpatient center on the MedWest - Haywood campus located in western North Carolina. The new outpatient center will include an ambulatory surgery center, imaging services, women’s diagnostic services, rehabilitation services and physician office space. MedWest Outpatient Center is scheduled to open in the spring of 2012.

MedWest Outpatient Center will be owned by a partnership, which includes Meadows & Ohly, LLC and the local physician community. The project was designed by McCulloch England Associates Architects, and will be constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC. “MedWest Outpatient Center will be a first-class outpatient facility that provides high quality healthcare services and enhances the patient experience. Mr. Bowling joined Meadows & Ohly, LLC in 2003. He became a partner of the firm and opened the Charlotte office in 2006. His primary focus has been in the firm’s development services group where his activities have included development planning, financial forecasting, pre-leasing, capital procurement, financing, and pre-construction planning of projects ranging from a $4 million single purpose office building to a $28 million project including an 800-car parking deck and 135,000 square foot medical office building. He has also been involved in acquisitions totaling $125 million and procured financing in excess of $175 million. In addition, Mr. Bowling holds a real estate license in two states and has served as property manager and leasing agent for several medical office buildings including the five building, 650,000 SF Charlotte portfolio. While actively involved in all aspects of the firm, Mr. Bowling’s primary areas of expertise are in strategic planning and development activities including: feasibility studies, project planning, leasing, financing and property management. May 2010, Atlanta, GA – Construction has begun at Kennestone Outpatient Pavilion in Marietta, GA. The new, 130,000 square foot medical office building is on the campus of WellStar Kennestone Hospital. The $34,750,000 project is owned by physicians associated with the WellStar Health System and Meadows & Ohly. The building is expected to open in April 2011.

330 Physicians Center named 2010 The Office Building of the Year (TOBY)
February 2010, Atlanta, GA – The 330 Physicians Center has been named The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) in the Medical Office category by the Atlanta chapter of the Building Owners and Manager’s Association (BOMA). The 330 Physicians Center is located in Rome, GA and is directly attached to the Floyd Medical Center. At 109,655 square feet, the building is 100% occupied and contains ten specialty practices and an outpatient surgery center. The project is owned by a partnership between Meadows & Ohly, LLC and physician/tenants of the building.

Larry Van Fossen Joins the Meadows & Ohly building management team
February 2010, Atlanta, GA – Meadows & Ohly is pleased to welcome Larry Van Fossen to the firm. Larry will be serving as our Building Manager at the Medical Plaza and Medical Arts of Dalton. He has been working as a contractor with us at these buildings since November 2009. Prior to M&O, he owned his own business where he built and installed fences, did carpentry and other repairs. He also served in the US Navy. Larry’s responsibilities include responding to tenant requests, performing preventative maintenance, and developing strong relationships with tenants.

Steve Gittens Joins the Meadows & Ohly building management team
February 2010, Atlanta, GA – Meadows & Ohly is pleased to welcome Steve Gittens to the firm. Steve will be serving as Building Manager at our new medical office building, Gwinnett Physicians Center, located on the Lawrenceville campus. He has prior experience as an electrician and has also worked as a home builder. Steve’s responsibilities include assisting with the opening of the building and tenant move-ins, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to tenant requests.

January 2010, Lawrenceville, GA – The 125,000 square foot Gwinnett Physician’s Center has opened on the Gwinnett Medical Center’s campus in Lawrenceville. Three tenants have already opened their doors and welcomed their first patients to their new practice home, including Suburban Hematology & Oncology Associates, Gwinnett Consultants in Cardiology and Gwinnett Surgical Associates. The Gwinnett Physicians Center is a 4 story medical office building that is connected to Gwinnett Medical Center via an elevated bridge. Meadows & Ohly, LLC developed the building.

Gwinnett Physicians Center is leased by physician practices and Gwinnett Health System to house their ever expanding services. Tenants will include the following medical specialties and services: cardiology, hematology & oncology, general surgery, vascular surgery, urology, pulmonology, a sleep lab, an ambulatory surgery center, a breast health center, and imaging services.

The project is owned by a limited partnership with Meadows & Ohly serving as general partner and the physician/tenants of the building as limited partners. Construction financing was provided by SunTrust Bank. The $25.7 million project was designed by Perkins & Will Architects and R.J. Griffin & Company served as the general contractor.

Construction begins for Douglas physicians center ii
July 2009, Atlanta, GA – Construction is expected to commence in September 2009 on a new medical office building adjacent to the WellStar/Douglas Hospital Campus. Douglas Physicians Center II will be a two-story, 42,000 square foot facility with over 200 surface parking spaces located in the Creekside Professional Park at 6001 Professional Parkway in Douglasville.

The project is owned by a Limited Partnership that includes the physician/tenants of the building and Meadows & Ohly. Construction financing was provided by SunTrust Bank. The $7.9 million project was designed by CDH Architects and will be constructed by Brasfield and Gorrie.
Douglas Physicians Center II is 85% pre-leased and its tenants include the following medical specialties: cardiology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, and oral surgery. The first tenants will be moving in July, 2010.

RIVER PLACE MEDICAL PLAZA OPENS ON NORTHEAST GEORGIA HEALTH SYSTEM'S NEW CAMPUS
September 2008, Hoschton, GA – Meadows & Ohly and Northeast Georgia Health System, Inc. have announced the opening of the 100,000 square foot River Place Medical Plaza 1 at 5875 Thompson Mill Road in Hoschton, Georgia. Northeast Georgia Health System’s Urgent Care Center and HealthLink Laboratory, both located on the first floor of the building, welcomed their first patients on September 15, 2008 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

River Place Medical Plaza 1 is the first building to open on Northeast Georgia Health System’s new 166-acre hospital campus in South Hall County. The $18,400,000 project was designed by HKS, Inc. architectural firm and constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC. The health system has received approval from the State of Georgia Department of Community Health to build a 100-bed hospital at the site.

In addition to the urgent care and laboratory services facilities, River Place Medical Plaza 1 will house diagnostic and physical therapy centers. All of these areas will be operated by Northeast Georgia Health System or its affiliates. The Braselton Clinic, a local internal medicine group, and Advantage Sports Medicine will also relocate to the building. The remainder of the three-story building will be occupied by local physician practices.

SPIVEY STATION PHYSICIANS CENTER CELEBRATES SOUTHERN REGIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM'S NEW SATELLITE CAMPUS WITH AN OPEN HOUSE
August 2008, Atlanta, GA – Meadows & Ohly, LLC celebrated the opening of the 58,000 square foot Spivey Station Physicians Center at 7823 Spivey Station Boulevard in Jonesboro, Georgia with an open house on August 12, 2008. Meadows & Ohly had the event catered, and physician-tenants opened their suites for tours. More than two hundred people attended the open house.

Spivey Station Physicians Center welcomed its first patient on December 18, 2007, and as of July 14, 2008, the three-story medical office building was 92% occupied. It houses two state-of-the-art all digital imaging centers and physician practices specializing in Breast Surgery, OB/GYN, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Hematology & Oncology. It is the first building to be completed on the 92-acre satellite campus of Southern Regional Health System (d/b/a Southern Regional Medical Center). A new 50,000 square foot building on the Spivey Station campus of Southern Regional Health System broke ground April 1, 2008 and will house the relocated 25,000 square foot Southlake Ambulatory Surgery Center and medical practice offices. Two floors of the new building will be attached to Spivey Station Physicians Center.

Spivey Station Physicians Center is owned by a partnership that includes the physician/tenants of the building and Meadows & Ohly, LLC. Construction financing for the project was provided by SunTrust Bank. The building was designed by CDH Architects and constructed by Brasfield and Gorrie, LLC.

MEADOWS & OHLY SELECTED TO DEVELOP TWO NEW HOSPITAL BASED MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDINGS
June, 2008, Atlanta, GA – The Atlanta based healthcare real estate firm, Meadows & Ohly, LLC, has been selected to develop projects in Newnan, GA and Knoxville, TN. Planning for both projects is underway.

Piedmont Newnan Hospital selected Meadows & Ohly, LLC to develop a medical office building on the new campus of the hospital on Poplar Road near Interstate 85. The Meadows & Ohly building will be attached to the new 136 bed replacement hospital being built by Piedmont Healthcare. Piedmont Newnan plans to start construction of the hospital in October 2008 with opening scheduled for January 2011. The medical office building, expected to be 100,000 square feet, will open before the hospital is completed.

The University of Tennessee Medical Center (UTMC) in Knoxville selected Meadows & Ohly, LLC to lead the development of a new, 125,000 square foot medical office building and to acquire existing medical office buildings on the UTMC campus. Meadows & Ohly plans to partner with Knoxville based Lawler-Wood for property management services.
