Meadows & Ohly is serving as project manager for the buildout of 1.5 floors of shelled space in the new Marcus Tower at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. which will focus solely on the care of Neuro patients. The north half of Level 5 will comprise 22 new ICU beds and a new CT. Each ICU patient room is hardwired to support continuous EEG monitoring which will occur on the unit rather than at a remote site. The entirety of Level 14 will be built out and includes 48 Acute beds as well as 2 new physical therapy gyms one of which will be equipped with Aretech’s Zero G gait and balance system.
