Position Summary:

The Commercial Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations, financial performance, tenant relations, and maintenance of a portfolio of commercial properties. This role leads day-to-day property management activities, supports leasing and capital improvement initiatives, and ensures high levels of tenant satisfaction while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance across all assigned properties.

Beyond property operations, this position plays an instrumental role in creating environments that support healthcare delivery and enhance the experience of providers, patients, and visitors. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, service-oriented leader with strong property management experience who values relationship building and takes pride in supporting spaces that positively impact the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations and financial performance of a portfolio of commercial properties
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, property owners, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Lead and support building management staff to ensure operational excellence and tenant satisfaction
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, variance reporting, and financial performance metrics
  • Oversee lease administration, rent collection, vendor contracts, and property compliance activities
  • Conduct property inspections and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs
  • Support leasing efforts, tenant retention initiatives, property marketing activities, and occupancy goals
  • Manage tenant improvement and capital projects, including contractor coordination and project oversight
  • Oversee life safety programs, tenant move-ins and move-outs, and overall operational compliance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Active Real Estate Salesperson’s license required
  • Experience managing commercial property portfolios preferred
  • Strong knowledge of property operations, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Experience overseeing vendor contracts, tenant improvement projects, and capital expenditures
  • Ability to interpret leases, contracts, and other real estate documents
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management/accounting software systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
