Position Overview:
The Director is a senior leadership role withinMeadows & Ohly’s Program Management division, responsible for overseeing complex healthcare capital programs, managing strategic client relationships, and leading multidisciplinary project teams. This position serves as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives while ensuring exceptional project delivery, operational excellence, financial performance, and account growth. The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare project management leader with a proven track record managing large-scale projects, developing high-performing teams, and expanding client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead healthcare capital programs and project portfolios, ensuring successful delivery of project objectives, budgets, schedules, and quality standards
- Serve as a strategic advisor to healthcare executives and key client stakeholders
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for account growth and expanded services
- Provide leadership and oversight for project teams, including Senior Program Managers and Program Managers
- Oversee project planning, design, procurement, construction, activation, and regulatory compliance activities
- Manage program budgets, financial performance, risk mitigation strategies, and contract negotiations
- Support business development efforts through client pursuits, proposals, presentations, and industry engagement
- Monitor key performance indicators and prepare executive-level reports for clients and internal leadership
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering,Construction Management, or related field
- 12+ years of progressive healthcare projectmanagement experience, including large-scale healthcare capital projects
- Experience leading complex healthcare programs,client accounts, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of healthcare facility planning, design, construction, activation, and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk management strategies
- Strong business development, client relationship management, and strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with e-Builder, Smartsheet, SharePoint, or similar project management platforms preferred
- Experience with healthcare construction and capital development projects required
