Southwell Medical is a state-of-the-art 120,000 SF replacement hospital for what was formerly known as the Cook Medical Center. The facility opened in early 2020 and delivers multiple specialities such as: acute care, laboratory services, sleep studies, medical imaging, endoscopy, an outpatient surgery center as well as physical, occupational and speech therapy services. The adjacent Sylvia Barr Center, is a 12-bed geriatric psychiatric facility, provides behavioral health services to adults who are aged 55 and older. Meadows & Ohly served as strategic advisor and program manager for the project.
